Rolfing®
Is a somatic therapy, created by the American biochemist and physiologist Ida Rolf, which aims to improve posture and fluidity of movement. It uses touch in the myofascial tissue to release tensions and fixations acquired in daily life, as well as motor losses, dysfunctions caused by accidents, physical traumas and bad posture. Through simple and objective exercises, it re-educates posture and the quality of movement, also enhancing body awareness and perception.
One of the basic fundamentals of Rolfing® is the alignment of the body within the gravity field.
It is recommended for:
•to improve physical and mental well-being, to increase flexibility and dynamics of the body;
•to avoid chronic tension and to support recovery after surgeries and injuries;
•to the relief of chronic pain;
•after pregnancy;
•to increase athletic performance and more efficient training;
•to increase body awareness and expression when acting, dancing or playing instruments;
•for more vitality and lightness in movement;
